Vistula Port, Kraków
Vistula Port, a 260-square-metre restaurant located in Kraków. It serves traditional Polish dishes in uncommon, modern setting. Its location, Na Zakolu Wisły just by the only port in Kraków was the inspiration for its name proposed to the investor by the architect Max Kobiela. The interior design refers to inland waterway transport which was very popular on Vistula river in the mid-20th century. The modern ambience of the restaurant is created by three colours: oak, white and blue accents which directly correspond with the river, and a light, open space. A-1505 Fameg chairs used by the designer constitute an important and comfortable styling element.
