Chairs from the Pala collection are characterized by a simple, elegant and timeless design. Pala has a comfortable, well-profiled seat and backrest that gently embraces the person sitting on it, which ensures high seating comfort. The strong, clear structure of the rear legs creates a solid structure, so characteristic of chairs from the 1950s and 1960s. The Pala chair is stackable.
Muka Design Lab
Muka Design Lab is an award winning industrial design studio from the Basque Country in Spain that specializes in product design to create furniture, consumer goods and interiors with character.
The studio was created in 2011 by Laxmi Nazabal and Lucas Abajo, they both graduated with honors in 2006 in MDES Product Design at Coventry University. Laxmi graduated also in Fine Arts brings creativity, color and aesthetic to their projects and Lucas who has a degree in Engineering brings structure, form and shape to create balanced designs, that reflect harmony with their surroundings.
Their work has proudly been featured in Architectural Design, Fast Company, Archi Expo, Dezeen or El Pais, exhibited at international design expos from Milan to Los Angeles and awarded with different design prizes such as ReD dot Design award 2015.
They take everyday products and give them personality from concept to reality.
